On June 22nd, 1972 Charles Lockhart purchased the John Lydon Insurance Agency. On July 1, 1972, the Charles W. Lockhart Insurance Agency, Inc. was incorporated. The agency was launched at 4412 Park Road Charlotte, NC and today remains at the same location.
On June 1, 1986 Gregg M. Lockhart joined the family-owned business. This insured the continuation of the insurance agency for the next generation and its employees. On January 26th, 2005 Charles W. Lockhart retired after a long and illustrious career in the insurance industry. Gregg Lockhart became President and Agency Principal.
